Among all these beautiful works, I must say I’ve been particularly attracted by the idea of the handmade medal.
I find adorable the choice of all the materials used and how they’ve been combined together.
Well, Valentine’s Day is almost here!

Tra tutti questi bellissimi lavori, mi ha particolarmente attratto l’idea della medaglia artigianale.
Trovo adorabile la scelta dei materiali usati e come sono stati combinati insieme.

Another thing I’m loving in those period is the neon/fluo colors, all those bright accents that immediately give to the object a different vibe.
And I’m noticing that more and more creatives are using them on their works.
Joy! I have fun to see how they insert and match these colors with the rest!

Un’altra delle cose che sto amando in questo periodo sono i colori neon/fluo, tutti quegli accenti accesi che danno immediatamente all’oggetto una vibrazione diversa.
E sto notando che sempre più creativi li stanno usando nei loro lavori.
Gioia! Mi diverte troppo vedere come li inseriscono e combinano col resto!

EnglishAs I told you in some past posts, my Studio/Lab was all to restructure and restyle.
Making this project it’s been a bit like being at the Paint Your Life Italian TV show (LoL).
Well, the main works of restructuration have been done (hurràh!) and now I’m in the phase of restyling to make it a lovely place where to create and find inspiration – I must say this is the funniest part!! :)
Finally I’m able to share with you some pics, and wanted to start with a “Before and After“.
What you see is an old chest of drawers that for many years has been in a workshop in which they repaired typewriters, and below it’s how it turned out after I worked on its restyle.
The chest has been plastered, sanded and entirely repainted by me.
I chose the color scheme and elaborated a geometric design and… tadaaaa!!
I really like the final result!
I’d love to share other pics of the work in progress of my new Studio-Lab with you, maybe in some future post?

ItalianoVECCHIA CASSETTIERA RESTAURATA: PRIMA E DOPO (PICCOLA PREVIEW DEL MIO NUOVO STUDIO/LAB)
Come vi avevo accennato in dei posts di qualche tempo fa, il mio nuovo Studio/Laboratorio era tutto da ristrutturare e da restylizzare.
Ridare vita a questo mobile mi ha fatto un pò sentire Barbara di Paint Your Life, il famoso programma televisivo italiano ehehe (raramente mi capita di metter mano su dei mobili).
Beh, ora il grosso dei lavori di ristrutturazione sono fatti (hurrà!) e questa è la fase del restyling per renderlo uno spazio coccolo dove creare e trovare ispirazione – che poi è la parte più divertente!! :)
Finalmente riesco a condividere con voi qualche foto, e volevo iniziare con un “Prima e Dopo“.
Quella che vedete è una vecchia cassettiera che per molti anni è stata in un offician dove riparavano macchine da scrivere (un pò poetico, eh?), e sotto è ciò che ne uscito dopo esser passata sotto le mie mani per un restyle totale.
La cassettiera è stata stuccata, poi levigata/scartavetrata e interamente ripitturata da me.
Ho scelto lo schema di colori e ho elaborato un design geometrico, e… tadaaaa!!
Sono proprio soddisfatta del risultato finale!
Mi paicerebbe condividere con voi altre foto del work in progress del mio nuovo Studio-Lab, magari in qualche futuro post?

This week I’ve been captured by all these different shades of brown.
Many works, so different from each other but all so uniquely beautiful and original. It’s the power of creativity, the main ingredient in the handmade.

These handmade sterling silver earrings are so super cute that I wanted to post some from the lovely Mini Zoo series by Giedre Koloksanskyte, a creative jeweler from Lithuania, Europe.
My absolutely favorites are the Mosquito earrings and the Moose earrings. So tender!
The online shop (Karramba) is full of little creatures like foxes, koala, frogs, crocodiles (amazing!), and many others.
They’re also a sweet and chip gift for friends and little girls. I already ‘loved’ it on Etsy!
Giedre is on Facebook and Twitter too.

Questi orecchini artigianali d’argento sono davvero troppo carini e ho voluto pubblicarli qui, scegliendone alcuni direttamente dalla serie “Mini Zoo” di Giedre Koloksanskyte, un’ orafa che vive in Lituania, Europa.
I miei preferiti in assoluto sono gli orecchini zanzara e gli orecchini alce. Tenerissimi.
Lo shop online (Karramba) è pieno di piccole creature adorabili come volpi, koala, rane, coccodrilli (stupendi!), e molti altri.
A pensarci sono anche dei regalini economici e dolci per amiche e ragazzine.

And, butterflies or not, this “cone” paper bags are a must.

ItalianoOggi ho messo insieme un pò di idee di packaging e relativi tutorials, perché come ben sapete tra le mie varie fisse c’è anche quella del packaging/delle confezioni per i prodotti/dei pacchi regalo, quindi… eccone un pò.
