I found a bunch of garland-themed images in the IB Flickr Group and I wanted to collect them here. I love garlands, they’re able to change the atmosphere of a room in a second!
And artists’ creativity has no limits, you can use them also to decorate a cake :)

Ho trovato parecchie immagini a tema ghirlanda nel Gruppo Flickr di IB e ho voluto raggrupparle qui. Le ghirlande e i festoni di questo tipo mi piacciono un sacco,sanno cambiare l’atmosfera di una stanza in un secondo! E la fantasia non ha limiti per gli artisti, le si possono usare ovunque, anche come decorazione su una torta :)

It was watching the “Sleeping Cat” illustration that the theme came up in my mind – Absolute Cute!
And all the other picks came quickly one after the other. Lot of funny ideas and inspirations here, plus they also smell of spring!
I like these colors and all photographs too, they’re really well done. I’m every day surprised by the quality of your work. Honored to have you in the IB community.

E’ stato guardando l’illustrazione “Sleeping Cat” che mi è venuto in mente il tema della settimana – Absolute Cute!
La selezione degli altri lavori è venuta da sè. Tante idee ed ispirazioni, e in più, profumano di primavera!
Mi piacciono molto questi colori e anche le fotografie, davvero ben fatte. Mi sorprendo ogni giorno della qualità del vostro lavoro. Non posso che sentirmi onorata di avervi nella comunità di IB.

Lately I’m attracted by every kind of hand crafted work that represent faces and facial expressions. So I wanted to choose this theme for my weekly picks in the IB Flickr Group.
It’s not always easy to create something that has the exact expression that we have in mind. But artists can do this and much much more!
My wishes for a creatively exciting week end to all the lovely Bloomers that come to visit IB!

Ultimamente sono attratta da ogni tipo di lavoro artigianale che rappresenta visi ed espressioni facciali. Perciò questa settimana ho voluto renderlo un tema su cui basare la selezione dei più bei lavori del Gruppo IB in Flickr.
Non è sempre facile creare qualcosa che abbia l’esatta espressione che abbiamo in mente e che vogliamo ricreare. Ma gli artisti sanno fare questo e molto molto altro!
Auguro un week end creativamente esaltante a tutti gli adorabili “Bloomers” che vengono sempre a trovarci qui in IB!

The theme I choose this week is “Lovely Color Schemes“. I wanted to put together some of the works that impressed me for the combination of colors used by artists.
Besides being very beautiful, they show us also the importance of the choice of colors and how the final result can be achieved with a perfect combination. Hope you like it!

Il tema che ho scelto questa settimana è “Belle Combinazioni di Colori“. Volevo mettere insieme alcuni dei lavori che mi hanno colpita per le combinazione di colori scelte dagli artisti.
Oltre che essere molto belli, ci mostrano anche l’importanza della scelta dei colori e come un buon risultato finale possa essere ottenuto con una combinazione perfetta. Spero vi piacciano!

This is how IBloomers reinvent the theme of nature. While I was creating this image I was listening to a sweet and delicate song and I really felt inside the nature world. The magic of art… images, sounds and words and in a few minutes you’re in into another reality.
I think in this last year, on 2010, there are some things and details that are recurrent in some way: clouds, drops, owls, bears, birds… In 2011 instead I’m noticing that lots of creatives are using feathers as subject.
There seems to be some sort of “trend”, even behind art.
Do you think is so? What subjects in your opinion will be most used and reinvented by artists becoming the new trend for 2011?

Ecco come gli IBloomers reinventano il tema della natura.
Mentre stavo creando questo puzzle di immagini ascoltavo una canzone molto dolce e delicata e mi sono davvero sentita in mezzo alla natura. Questa è la magia dell’arte… immagini, suoni, parole e in pochi minuti sei catapultato in un’altra realtà.
Penso che in quest’ultimo anno, nel 2010, ci siano delle cose e dei dettagli che sono in qualche modo ricorrenti: nuvole, goccie, gufi, orsi, uccelli… Nel 2011 invece sto notando che molti creativi stanno usando come soggetto le piume, per esempio.
Sembra esserci una sorta di “trend/tendenza” , anche dietro all’arte. Cosa ne pensate?
Quali saranno secondo voi i soggetti che verranno più usati e reinterpretati dagli artisti e che creeranno una nuova tendenza per il 2011?
