EnglishGuys in these last weeks I’m – especially – obsessed by sculptures and heads.
It’s probably for this that the ceramic works by Sarah Saunders immediately caught my heart.
I recently discovered her Facebook page… but I’m already hoping that she will soon make many other!! :)
P.s. I have two new “crafty” books in my hands… would you like the reviews? Should I make them?

EnglishThe artist feature of this week is SO inspiring to me – and so hope it is for you too.
Looking at these works has been like an extra injection of enthusiasm to work on new ideas!
I’m happy to introduce you the wonderful ceramic world of Makoto Kagoshima, made of lovely sculptures, tiny creatures and imaginative accessories for the home.
I think it’s always amazing when an artist is able to incorporate a little bit of his culture on his creations and rework it into something totally new, original and creative like this.

Sono felice di condividere il meraviglioso mondo di ceramiche di Makoto Kagoshima, fatto di adorabili sculture, piccole creature e accessori per la casa.
Trovo che sia sempre fantastico quando un artista è capace di incorporare un po’ della sua cultura nelle sue creazioni e rielaborarla in qualcosa di totalmente nuovo, originale e creativo come questo.

EnglishI love discovering artists who are able to use many materials and tecniques to shape their visions. Today I want to share some works by Aitch, from Romania.

Little sculptures, drawings, 3D illustrations, handmade jewelry and accessories are just a small part of the things you can admire visiting her site.
It’s amazing to find on each work a so different approach and feeling from each other.
I strongly suggest to make a virtual tour on Aitch’s website and on her blog.
They’re chock full of things to look at and inspirations from which to be invaded!

EnglishThe combination of simple shapes and amazing colors scheme of these handmade works made my heart *BLOOM*!
The artist feature of this week come from Australia, and it’s all about Natalia Milosz Piekarska. Love love love these colors!
And I love this original combo of fluo colors and shapes that have a primitive something.
It’s wonderful to see these kind of works with metal.
Usually this material is mostly used for geometric and clear shapes. Love to see these original variations.
It’s so inspiring for me to find such adorable works!
I’m sure they will be a source of new ideas and a fresh desire to experiment too!

ItalianoLa combinazione di forme semplici con una palette di colori così particolari in questi lavori ha fatto battere forte il mio curicino un’altra volta, *BLOOM*!
L’artista di questa settimana viene dall’Australia, parliamo di Natalia Milosz Piekarska. Quanto adoro questi colori!!
E amo quest’originale combinazione di colori fluo con forme che hanno un qualcosa di primitivo.
Meraviglioso vedere questo tipo di lavori con un materiale come il metallo.
Di solito questo materiale è usato principalmente per creare forme geometriche e ben definite. Amo vedere queste ‘varianti’.
Per me è stata un’ispirazione trovare questi lavori!
Sono sicura che saranno una fonte di nuove idee e voglia di sperimentare!

EnglishAs promised here I am with a new feature from the “ handmade land“!
This week it’s about an Italian illustrator who has created these wonderful collection of hand painted objects: brooches, rings, earrings, bags, bookmarks… I loved her style at first sight!
Her name is Enrica Trevisan and now (as all the time I discover a new talented artist) I’m already curious to see her next works!
She recently has also opened a Facebook page you can join to keep in touch with her and to stay up to date on her new creations.
While you’re enjoying these wonders I go to the Lab!
Yep I’m on “Holiday-Mode” but can’t resist to spend some of my spare time making something creative!

Questa settimana parliamo di un’illustratrice Italiana che ha creato una meravigliosa collezione di oggetti dipinti a mano: spille, anelli, orecchini, borse, segnalibri… Ho amato il suo stile al primo sguardo!

Italiano Nei miei momenti dedicati alla ricerca di nuove meraviglie in questi giorni, mi sono imbattuta in un paio di mani creative che meritano attenzione, sono quelle di Lucille Michieli.
Mi è piaciuta molto l’idea di queste maschere-volpe di stoffa fatte a mano con dettagli ricamati.
Anche il packaging è molto carino.
Il timbro fatto a mano a forma di volpe personalizza i sacchettini in modo adorabile.
Lucille fa anche delle bellissime illustrazioni e qui sotto ne potete vedere alcune prese dal suo libro serigrafato.
