What I love the most of her illustrations is the fantastic ability to reproduce animals and animal details in such an original and perfect way, together with the work of mixing of these drawings with other things and colors, also when apparently discordant each another.
These trees and the contrast of style and colors with the bear is simply genius, and on its own way it’s perfectly balanced.

Evvia con un’altra dose di ispirazione! Oggi viene da Sandra Dieckmann, l’illustratrice che si definisce donnanimale. Abbastanza semplice immaginare il perché, no?
Questo qui in alto è il dettaglio di un’illustrazione più grande. Vi suggerisco vivamente di amirarlo anche nella versione intera, poi nel dettaglio ingrandito e anche la bozza iniziale. Stupendo.
Cioò che mi piace di più delle sue illustrazioni è la fantastica abilità di riprodurre gli animali e parti di essi in un modo così originale e perfetto, insieme al lavoro di mixaggio di questi disegni con altre cose e colori anche apparentemente discordanti uno dall’altro.
Questi alberi e il contrasto di stile e colori con l’orso è semplicemente geniale, e a suo modo perfettamente bilanciato.
