These repurposed vessels are a new project by Jane Schouten, another original and super inspirational work, that I’m sure will have success, as was for the idea of her found object Christmas tree (I suggest to save her flickr page!).
In her blog she has also posted a little tutorial to know how to repurpose these vessels into wall vases by yourself.
In her post and on comments left by readers, I read that in some countries these kind of ceramic vessels (that are originally used to moisture the air as they hang on the side of radiators), are not used. In Italy we have them!
And I’m sure to have some old ones in my home too. The great thing in these kind of works is that anyone can create the design that better suit his own taste or that better match the style of his home.
From her All The Luck In The World site you can find other info about Jane and the shop where to see and buy beautiful creations :)
In Italia li abbiamo!

Hi Sophia, thanks for your words!
In the truth actually I’m not having so much time to follow other projects, so I don’t think I’d be able to be active on your blog too. Anyway I’ll take a look at it! Thanks!
