It’s the new book by Kate Bingaman-Burt, the artist who 3 years ago began this original project to convert in drawings and doodles all her daily purchases and catalog them into monthly zines.
The idea comes from a substantial credit card debt (about $20,000), mostly comprised of little things that she bought. She started to draw all this stuff together with her credit card statements, till the debit was repaid.
I think that behind the originality of this idea there is also a cool irony that captures the reader’s curiosity as well as a sort of search of meanings and study of messages that are part of products we buy.

Penso che dietro alll’originalità di questa idea ci sia anche una fresca ironia che cattura la curiosità dei lettori così come una sorta di ricerca di significati e studio dei messaggi che sono parte dei prodotti che acquistiamo.
